In den letzten Jahren hat sich Danse Macabre einen Namen mit Deathrock Erscheinungen gemacht. So ist es nicht verwunderlich, das das kraftvolle italienische Quartett Dead Inside ihr selftitled Debut auf dem Traditionslabel erscheinen lässt. Die treibende Produktion hinterlässt einen professionellen Eindruck und legt die Marke hoch. Ein treibendes Bass Schlagzeug Fundament, Gitarren die teilweise an die glorreichen 80er Wurzeln aus dem Vereinigten Königreich erinnern und eine Stimme, erhaben, sonor und angenehm dunkel, die hohen Lagen nicht scheuend und in elegischen Melodiebögen schwelgend, machen dieses Album zu einem kurzweiligen Erlebnis.

The last years Danse Macabre released some astonishing new death rock bands. So there was no doubt for the Italy born Deathrockband Dead Inside to release their powerful debut on the German label. The straight forward driven production builds on a perfect drum and base section, featuring guitar sounds from the glorious UK 80ies. Above all, the sonore and multitimbral voice that expresses beautiful melody lines thru all octaves, suffering and gasping, praying and raging – but always with a strong binding to the melody and pure singing qualities.
