With a dark fantasy revolving around a mystical doll maker who allows you to take control over your own voodoo doll to prevent darkeness and suffering in your life! Truly a Gothic fantasy for anyone who has ever suffered pain at the hands of fate! This song is one of many that touch on the theme of pain and suffering in life. From the album: “Defend Against Life!” which is also a song on the album that reminds us all that life on this planet is a struggle against the elements, other humans and the dark twists of fate. Somehow by sharing the realities of life, Lynn finds solice in an acceptance of the fickle nature of life in general! We all struggle and hope to defend against fates we are given and we “Cringe” ( another son on the album) at the brutality of this realization!
