Bereits mit dem Debutalbum „Empires“ liessen die vier Finnen aufhorchen, denn selten war die Symbiose aus Elektropop, Metall und eingängigen Hooks so gelungen. Noch geschliffener und melodisch präsentiert sich das neue Werk der Nordmänner. Zu unterstreichen ist dabei auch die Coverversion des 80er Jahre Klassikers von Laura Branigqan „Self Control“. Kruzweilig bis zur letzten Note, vereint das Album auch viele Gastmusiker wie z.B. Anton Rosa und Dimitry Rhisko von der russischen Metalband Dominia oder der Sängerin Karoliina Kallio der finnischen Band „Waldo´s People“.

Black Light Discipline is a finnish band founded in 2005 on the idea to make captivating, energetic grooves with a mix of metal and electro genres. This fresh mixture makes BLD one of the most interesting groups playing electro-metal and the sound could well be described as raw, fleshy and atmospheric. Evolution of their music goes forward without any boundaries. “Against Each Other” is their second album release. It contains ten energetic tracks, including a cover song from Laura Branigan’s 80’s hit “Self Control”. On the album you can hear also great guest stars in the songs called “Serene” and “Walls inside Us”. “Serene” is boosted with members from Dominia, russian dark/symphonic/metal band from St. Petersburg: vocalist Anton Rosa and violinist Dmitry “Casper” Rhisko. One of album’s dance tracks “Walls inside us” is featured by Karoliina Kallio who is best known from the finnish group “Waldo’s People”. This release includes strong songs from head banging to partying and chilling out. BLD is hungry for the gigs and is always willing to give intensive, full spirit live-shows with a killer attitude for their growing fan base.
