Die finnische Gothic-Rock-Band Hateful Chains wurde 2016 gegründet. In ihrer kompromisslosen Musik verbinden sie die düsteren Klänge und Ästhetik des Goth mit Elementen des Indie-Rock und Metal. Die Band wurde 2018 relauncht, als sie ihre erste Single und ihr erstes Video veröffentlichten und beim Lumous Gothic Festival auftraten. Mehrere Singles und Musikvideos später signten sie 2020 bei Danse Macabre Records und veröffentlichten 2021 ihr erstes Album, Invite. Derzeit arbeitet die Band an ihrem zweiten Album, das Ende 2023 erscheinen soll

The Finnish Gothic Rock act Hateful Chains was formed in 2016. In their uncompromising music they combine the dark sounds and esthetics of  Goth with elements of Indie Rock and Metal. The band was launched in 2018 when they released their first single and video, and performed at Lumous Gothic Festival. Several singles and music videos later they signed with Danse Macabre Records in 2020, and released their first album, Invite in 2021. Currently the band is creating their second album, set to be released in the end of 2023
