Die USA sind Heimat einer neuen Gothic-Rock-Band namens “The Waning Moon”, die den markanten Sound der 90er Jahre aufgreift und ihn mit einer frischen, zeitgemäßen Note versieht. Sie hauchen dem nostalgischen Gothic-Rock neues Leben ein, ohne dabei die charakteristischen Elemente zu verlieren, die das Genre so einzigartig machen. The Waning Moon ist eine kompromisslose, auf Gitarren basierende Gothic-Rock-Band, die auf die Klänge der der 80er und 90er Jahre mit ihrer eigenen modernen Interpretation des Genres zurückgreift. Die Band ist eine internationale Zusammenarbeit von Ariel Maniki (Costa Rica) von Ariel Maniki and the Black Halos und Zac Campbell (USA) von The Kentucky Vampires. Ariel beherrscht Gesang, Texte, zusätzliche Gitarren, Programmierung, Keyboards und Live-Rhythmusgitarren; während Zac Gitarren, Schlagzeug, Programmierung, Keyboards, Bassgitarre und Live-Gitarren steuert. Bei Live-Shows unterstützen Ian Joseph am Live-Bass und Maggie Campbell am Live-Keyboard.

The US is home to a new goth rock band called The Waning Moon, which takes the distinctive ’90s sound and infuses it with a fresh, contemporary twist. They breathe new life into nostalgic gothic rock without losing the characteristic elements that make the genre so unique. The Waning Moon is an uncompromising, guitar-based gothic rock band that harks back to the sounds of the 80’s and 90’s with their own modern take on the genre. The band is an international collaboration between Ariel Maniki (Costa Rica) of Ariel Maniki and the Black Halos and Zac Campbell (USA) of The Kentucky Vampires. Ariel is proficient on vocals, lyrics, additional guitars, programming, keyboards and live rhythm guitars; while Zac controls guitars, drums, programming, keyboards, bass guitar and live guitars. Live shows are assisted by Ian Joseph on live bass and Maggie Campbell on live keyboards.
