Accolade, das rituell-archaische Elektrotrio aus Seattle kombiniert betörende Gesangseinlagen der Fetisch Künstlerin Stefanie Reneé mit treibenden Synthbässen und Industrial Klangkollagen. Dabei verbinden die drei amerikanischen Musiker sämtliche dunklen Genres von Gothic über Elektro und Darkwave bis zu Klassizismus und Mittelalter zu einer einzigartigen Klangwolke, in deren Vielfalt der Gegensatz weiblicher “Heiligkeit” mit männlicher Impulsivität verschmilzt. Der menschliche Wille trifft auf raue Natürlichkeit und verwebt dabei sämtliche Epochen und Geisteshaltungen. Die Band wurde bereits im Jahre 2006 in Kalifornien gegründet und hat jetzt ihren Wirkungskreis nach Seattle verlagert. Kein geringerer als Martin Bowes, Attrition hat das Album gemischt und verfeinert und beschenkt damit das in die Jahre gekommene Darkwave Genre mit frischen und inspirierenden Experimenten, die nur auf eines hoffen lassen: Möge die Band bald auf Europas Bühnen gastieren.

Accolade from Seattle combines soaring classical female vocals, once described as “a force to be reckoned with”, along with industrial rhythms and driving bass. This unique combination delivers a dark and delicious experience. Accolade draws from such broad influences as Gothic, Industrial, Darkwave, Classical and Medieval music. The soul of the project lies in bringing together the spiritual aspects of the divine feminine and masculine, integrating the raw forces of nature into balance with the human will. The band was founded in San Francisco in 2006 and relocated to Seattle in 2014. They were then joined by electronic composer Mike Hines who brought new compositions and percussive elements to the project. They have performed live throughout the West Coas of the USA at numerous venues and festivals. Accolade has perviously released three independent albums. Their new album Tria Prima was mixed and masteres by the infamous Martin Bowes of Attrition and ihs now worldwide available on Danse Macabre
